Responding to grassroots organizing throughout the state by tenants and community allies, the legislature is considering Senate Bill 608 that would protect some seniors, families, and working people who rent from no-cause evictions and set a limit on some rent increases.
SB 608 would be an important first step toward bringing stability to the rental housing market.
We need to make our voices heard now to fight for the strongest possible bill and to make sure the legislature acts now to pass Senate Bill 608.
